Bergstrom Scholarship Fund

Each year, scholarships are awarded from the Bergstrom Scholarship Fund to first-year students enrolled in a post-secondary educational facility. The Bergstrom Scholarship Fund offers scholarships to recipients contingent upon adequate grade point averages (2.5 or better) and desirable declared majors (agriculture and the trades), which will be verified through official transcripts. All scholarship recipients will receive funds after the successful completion of their first semester (trade schools) or first academic year (universities). 

Since inception, this fund has awarded $190,000 in scholarships.

Eligibility: Applicants must be a graduating senior at Mohall - Lansford - Sherwood High School and must enroll in a post-secondary institution following high school graduation. Applicant must also be pursuing a career important to rural North Dakota. The identified careers include those in agriculture as well as the trades.

Application Form: The application form is accessible at the bottom of this page and is to be completed by the student applying for the scholarship. Upon completion, the student must submit the form to the principal to verify its accuracy. Mail the completed scholarship form and the required components to the address below. Applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2025.
