Recently, our Arnold I. Besserud Fund, granted the YWCA $60,000 for the support of their future growth in our community. The Besserud Fund supplies humanitarian grants within Minot and the surrounding area to support organizations that serve underserved populations.

The YWCA is Minot’s only women and children’s homeless shelter and strive to provide the best opportunities for each client they serve to succeed and become self-sufficient while giving them a hand up verses a hand out. Organizations like the YWCA are incredibly vital to our community which makes their partnership with the Minot Area Community Foundation so important.
