The Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) is pleased to announce scholarship awards to several area students through endowment funds held at the Foundation. These funds support graduating seniors from rural communities as they pursue post-secondary education and future career goals.
The Brooke Nicole Schroeder Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Maycie Talbott and Kylee Heer. Established in memory of Brooke Schroeder, this scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate excellence both in and outside the classroom, while honoring her legacy of leadership, service, and school spirit in the Max community. Talbott received $403.98, commemorating Brooke’s birthday, and Heer received $250.
The Haley Sundsbak Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Allie Glasoe and Jacey Hutton. This scholarship supports students from Des Lacs-Burlington High School who are continuing their education after graduation, in memory of Haley Sundsbak. Glasoe and Hutton each received $1,581.50.
The Dale & Sally Stremick Scholarship was awarded to Nora Lorenz and Levi Swanson. This scholarship is designated for graduating seniors from Langdon Area High School who are enrolling in a post-secondary institution and pursuing careers that are important to rural North Dakota. Lorenz received $500 and Swanson received $250.
