Community Wish List Finalists!

The finalists in the United Community Bank Community Wish List Grant Program have been choosen!

Finalist #1: Minot Park District, Hockey Sleds
The Park District's goal is to provide citizens with quality of life no matter your age or ability. By providing these sleds, athletes are offered the chance to be a kid, the chance to be a hockey player, the chance to be on the ice where they want to be.

Finalist #2 - Companions for Children - Youth Mentoring, Lunch Pals
Companions for Children and Sunnyside Elementary are partnering to pilot a school based youth mentoring program - Lunch Pals! In this program mentors will have lunch with their designated mentee once per week for the duration of the 20 week pilot program. Mentors provide the student with someone to have lunch with, share their day with and an adult they can depend on.

Finalist #3 - Make a Scene Kids Theatre (MASK), Children's Musical
MASK would love to bring the children and community of Minot a children's musical. Their mission is to provide cultural enrichment to the children of Minot and the surrounding communities through enjoyable, exciting and creative theatrical experiences.

The winning organization receives $2500 from UCB, and the remaining finalists will also be awarded with funding from us!
