Power of the Purse Grants $33,060 to Area Organizations

Power of the Purse is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 Fall Grant Round, awarding a total of $33,060 to support local programs that strengthen and uplift the community. A ceremonial check presentation was held this week to recognize the grant recipients and celebrate the meaningful impact of their work.

Funding from this grant round supported Souris Valley United Way for the Backpack Buddies program, Full Steam Ahead for 2026 programming, Central Middle School for its Bus Pass Program, the Minot Curling Club for its “Curling for the Cure” event, and Jim Hill & Central Middle Schools to provide holiday meals for middle school families in need.

Power of the Purse is proud to invest in programs that support women and children by addressing critical needs, promoting opportunity, and enhancing quality of life for individuals and families across the Minot area. These grants reflect the organization’s ongoing commitment to making a meaningful difference through collective giving.
