MACF supports Community Paramedicine Program

Posted: Apr 04 2025

Earlier this week, the Minot Area Community Foundation presented a ceremonial check to support the Community Paramedicine Program—a partnership between Trinity Health and the Minot Fire Department.

MACF President Jason Zimmerman shared: "A key component of what we do at the Minot Area Community Foundation is to improve the quality of life in our region through traditional and new initiatives. We are pleased to be a partner in this transformational collaboration between Trinity Health and the Minot Fire Department.

Programs like this have the potential to allow our residents to maintain a level of independence and quality of life by connecting them to the RIGHT resources at the RIGHT time. This partnership brings forward options to develop alternatives for non-emergent care, with the goal of reducing 911 calls, easing overcrowding, and lowering costs for all involved. At the end of the day, it’s this type of collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking that fosters a healthier, more resilient community and keeps us moving forward.

On behalf of the staff, our Board of Directors, Grant Advisors, and most importantly, our donors, we are pleased to be part of this collaboration to improve the lives of individuals in our community."
