MACF Supports Full STEAM Ahead’s New Home with $50,000 Grant and Match Opportunity

The Minot Area Community Foundation (MACF) is proud to announce a $50,000 grant to Full STEAM Ahead to support the recent purchase of the organization’s new permanent home. The grant was awarded from MACF’s Community Impact Fund, which supports transformative projects that strengthen the Minot area.

Ali Auch, Executive Director of Full STEAM Ahead, shares: "We are deeply humbled by the generous donation from the Minot Area Community Foundation, which reaffirms their commitment to the youth of our community. This significant contribution will further enable Full STEAM Ahead to empower young minds with the tools for creativity, growth, and innovation."

In addition to the $50,000 grant, a private donor has issued a matching challenge in the spirit of MACF’s Match Madness campaign celebrating the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary. The challenge grant will match every dollar (up to $10,000) donated to Full STEAM Ahead towards their Gearing Up for the Future campaign. This challenge has the potential of doubling the impact of additional community contributions toward this exciting next chapter.

“We’re thrilled to help Full STEAM Ahead take this big step forward,” said Jason Zimmerman, President of the Minot Area Community Foundation. “Their work in inspiring the next generation of thinkers, makers, and innovators perfectly reflects the kind of community impact our donors make possible. This project is a great example of how philanthropy fuels progress right here in Minot.”
