2022 Schroeder Scholarship Awards

Posted: May 24 2022

The Minot Area Community Foundation’s Brooke Nicole Schroeder Scholarship Fund has awarded scholarships to two Max High School Graduates.

The Brooke Nicole Schroeder Scholarship Endowment Fund was established in 2018. The goal of the fund is to provide scholarships to Max High School youth through a permanent endowment fund held at the Minot Area Community Foundation. Scholarship applications are scored based on participation in school activities, involvement in community and charitable organizations and academic achievements.

The 2022 scholarship recipients are: Taylor Johnson and Benjamin Scheresky – receiving scholarships in an amount commemorating Brooke’s birthday.

The Brooke Nicole Schroeder Scholarship Fund is in memory of Brooke Schroeder. Her friends and family described her as a loud, energetic, dedicated, caring, and compassionate individual; a force to be reckoned with at Max High School. She was not afraid to take life’s challenges head on and march to the beat of her own drum. Brooke was heavily involved in a number of activities, including FFA, drama, band, dance, and sports. Through annual scholarship awards, this fund will keep Brooke’s memory alive in the community for years to come.
