MACF Welcomes Mackner

Posted: Feb 16 2021

It is our pleasure to welcome our newest board member, Emily Mackner! Emily was born and raised right here in Minot. After attending high school at Minot High, Emily left for 8 years and then returned home to join the family business, Tollefson’s Retail Group DBA Slumberland, Carpet Garage and Tollefson’s Carpetland.

Emily is married to John and they have 2 daughters, Ella and Mara. They love spending time as a family creating memories and being on the go! They love taking advantage of all Minot has to offer including parks, the zoo, Magic City Discovery Center, Taube Museum and sporting events. They also like to travel and spend time at Lake Metigoshe.

Emily says she’s “passionate about providing opportunities and building upon the amazing community that we live and work in. Our community has so much to offer and I’m proud to live here. I recognize the importance and impact that we as a board are responsible for and I don’t take it lightly. My hope is that my passion and skill set is an asset to this amazing group that I get to sit alongside.” Thank you, Emily!
